Choose the correct answer.

Which of the following statements is true?
A. All vertebrates have jaws.
B. Some vertebrates have jaws.
That's Correct!
It's Wrong!

Vertebrates can be divided into groups with jaws and without jaws. Jawless vertebrates include eel-like ocean and freshwater fishes. They have a skeleton made of cartilage and a circular, sucking mouth.  Humans, lions and tigers are examples of vertebrates with jaws.

On the other hand, invertebrates have no jaws like those of some vertebrates. Pincers of lobsters or mandibles of ants may act like jaws, but they are not like those of Vertebrates.
